We left Red Bluff Bay into Frederick Sound headed for the Brothers Islands...a 50 mile run. We could see whales breaching off in the distance ahead and several Humpbacks underway around us. I could post a number of whale pictures here. We had been underway for a couple of hours when a whale near the boat started breeching and slapping his fins on the water.

Maria tried fishing for Halibut...and hooked "something really big" that ultimately got away with her bait.

We went ashore on East Brother Island with Josh as our guide. Everything was covered with a layer of moss.

This Humpback breeched several times near the boat.
