We left Hoonah Sound heading South to Chatham Strait...past Catherine Island along
the East side of Baronof Island. We saw Humpback Whales, more waterfalls than we could count and the most breathtaking
views of the mountains on Baronof Isld.
We had beautiful weather...sunny and 70'ish.
Josh said it was a sun deck...
The views of the East side of Baronof Island were breathtaking...all day long.
This is the view as you approach the settlement at Warm Springs Bay. Dead ahead is a large waterfall... along
the side of the waterfall is a trail leading to hot springs and a snow fed lake. The cabins and small
store here are powered by hydroelectric generators and heated by water from the hot springs.
