We left Sitka in the early afternoon heading North along Baranof Island to Salisbury Sound. We then
passed through Peril Strait and North to Hoonah Sound east of Chichagof Island.
As we approached the anchorage, Capt. Ron asked if we had fishing licenses. If so, we would be dropping some shrimp
traps along a deep ledge and some crab traps near the shoreline. Luckily, we were able to buy fishing licenses on
board and the rest is seafood history.

Anchored in the South Arm of Hoonah Sound

In Peril Strait, we found some Sea Otters taking a break.

Maria prepares to drop the shrimp traps in Hoonah Sound (under the direction of First Mate Josh).
We can't tell you where, it was Captain Ron's favorite spot.

As we left the anchorage, Capt. Ron and First Mate Josh bring in the nights catch.

Maria can't believe how big the shrimp are.

And, of course, the crabs.
